Why are service sign-ins limited?

How personal sign-in limits help reduce spam and attempts to access other people’s accounts.

AccountUpdated 27 September 2026

Reduce abuse

Personal accounts are for using services with your own accounts. Limiting new sign-ins helps make ajar less useful for cycling through accounts to send spam or trying stolen credentials to access someone else’s account.

This limit is one safeguard. It does not replace a service’s own security checks or guarantee that an account cannot be compromised.

What the limit covers

Personal subscriptions allow three new sign-ins per service, per billing month. Each service has its own allowance. Reusing an existing service session does not count as a new sign-in.

This is a limit on signing in to connected services, not on signing in to ajar or making API requests. A billing month follows your subscription period, rather than the calendar month.

Need more sign-ins?

Request enterprise access if you manage a team or need more than three new sign-ins to a service each billing month. Enterprise is invite only so we can review your use case and account requirements before granting access.

If a sign-in problem is using up your allowance, contact contact@useajar.com. Do not send passwords, session cookies, or sign-in links.
